iClarityOne Companion

Someone to stay alongside your child.

A dedicated psychologist companion who gets to know your child over time, builds trust and helps bridge the distance between your child and your family.

Find the right Companion

You can be close to your child and still not know what’s on their mind.

Growing up brings friendships, pressure, the online world, identity and emotions — parts of their life that don't always make it into conversations at home.

“I’m fine.”

Sometimes that’s the whole truth. Sometimes there’s more behind it than there’s room to say at the dinner table.

A world you don’t always see

School, friendships, group chats, online life — most of their day happens somewhere you aren’t.

Working it out alone

Not because they don’t trust you. Often because they haven’t worked out who to bring it to yet.

Someone who already knows your child.

  1. Week one

    Getting to know them

The first conversations aren’t about fixing anything. They’re about who your child actually is when nobody’s assessing them.

  2. Week six

    Building trust

Trust isn’t given in week one. It’s what makes the conversation in week six a different conversation.

  3. Between conversations

    Staying connected

Between conversations the relationship doesn’t reset. Nobody has to be caught up from the beginning again.

  4. Across months

    Understanding them over time

Things show up across months that no single hour could see — and they’re usually the things that matter.

The value of a Companion isn’t just a conversation. It’s having someone who understands the context before the next conversation begins.

A warmly lit living room corner with a sofa, a reading lamp and a plant — an inviting, unoccupied space

A trusted space for them. More perspective for you.

The Companion doesn’t act as a messenger between your child and you. They help both sides understand each other better.

One dedicated relationship. Ongoing support around your child.

A dedicated Companion

One consistent psychologist who gets to know your child.

Ongoing connection

Support doesn’t disappear the moment a conversation ends.

Parent alignment

Perspective on what’s going on, and practical guidance on how you can help.

Small steps forward

Realistic goals, revisited over time - progress for your child's life, not a chart.

Because life doesn’t only happen during appointments.

When something happens at school, at home, or somewhere in between, your child can reach out in the moment. The Companion carries that context forward, helping small moments become a clearer picture over time.

What parents ask before starting

Still have something you want to ask? We’d rather you asked it than guessed.

Contact us

That’s a normal starting point, and it’s one of the first things we ask about — whether your child asked for this, is open to it, is unsure, or doesn’t know you’re looking yet. How a companion makes first contact changes completely depending on the answer. Nobody is dropped into a conversation they weren’t expecting.

Your child’s individual conversations stay between them and their companion, except where safety requires otherwise — that’s agreed in writing before anything starts, by you and by them. What you do get is the shape of things: how it’s going, what would help at home, and what to watch for. You choose the rhythm — a short update each week, only when something needs your attention, or decided together on the first call.

A 1:1 session is one hour about something specific, with a psychologist meeting your child for the first time. A Companion is the same person over months, who already knows the background before the next conversation starts. If what you need is one conversation, 1:1 is genuinely the better answer — this is for when the thing you want is continuity.

No. A Companion is a qualified psychologist in an ongoing supportive relationship with your child, not a course of clinical treatment. If what emerges needs specialised clinical care, your companion will say so and help you find it rather than continuing regardless.

Tell us, early. Fit matters more here than anywhere else on this site — the entire product is one relationship, so the wrong one is not worth persevering with. Exactly how we handle a change mid-plan isn’t settled yet, and we’d rather tell you the real answer than write a policy here that we haven’t agreed. Ask us and we’ll tell you where it stands.
