Something’s on your mind.
Let’s make sense of it together.
You don’t need to have the right words, a diagnosis, or a solution. Just start with what’s been on your mind.

What’s been taking up space in your head?
Choose one that feels closest to you.
Going over it again isn’t a lack of discipline. Often the thought is standing in for something that hasn’t been said out loud yet.
Sometimes the decision isn’t the real problem. You might be trying to work out what you truly want, what you’re afraid of, or what’s actually within your control.
Some things don’t settle just because time passed. There’s room here to say what actually happened, to someone whose job is to listen to it properly.
Not being able to name it doesn’t make it less real. Finding the words is usually easier out loud, with someone else in the room.
Noticing the pattern is the hard part, and you’ve already done it. The question worth sitting with is what keeps pulling you back into it.
You don’t need an opening line. Start anywhere — a psychologist’s job is to follow, not to wait for you to summarise it neatly.
Nothing has to have gone visibly wrong for something to feel off. That’s a reason to talk it through, not a reason to wait until it’s worse.
That’s a completely normal place to begin. You can turn up without knowing what this is about and work that out in the conversation itself.
You bring the thoughts. We’ll work through them together.
Every session is different, because every person is. What stays the same is how the hour is held.
1. Understand
You say what’s on your mind, in a space where none of it gets judged.
2. Identify
Together you look at what’s actually going on underneath it.
3. Reframe
You see the same situation from angles you hadn’t considered.
4. Respond better
You leave with a clearer head and a next step you can take.

Here’s what people have taken away from an hour.
I finally felt like someone understood what I was going through.
Our son started opening up about things for the first time in months.
It helped me see the situation in a different perspective and move forward.

Still have something you want to ask? We’d rather you asked it than guessed.
Contact usNot quite. A 1:1 session is one hour with a qualified psychologist to think something through — useful when there’s something specific taking up space in your head. It isn’t a course of clinical treatment, and if what you describe needs ongoing care, your psychologist will tell you that rather than keep booking hours.
A friend knows you, which helps, and has an opinion about your life, which sometimes doesn’t. A psychologist is trained to hear what’s underneath what you’re saying, has no stake in which way you go, and the conversation stays between the two of you.
No. Turning up with “I don’t know where to start” is a completely normal way to start. If you filled in the booking form, the psychologist has already read it, so you don’t have to explain the background twice.
What you write and what you say goes to the psychologist working with you, and stays there. We don’t publish it, sell it, or share it with anyone else. The one limit we’ll always be upfront about: if there’s an immediate risk to your safety or someone else’s, the responsible thing may be to involve someone who can help — and your psychologist will talk to you about that rather than around you.
Sometimes one conversation is enough to see the thing differently. Sometimes it’s the start of a few. We won’t promise you which — what an hour reliably gives you is undivided attention from someone qualified whose only job in it is to help you make sense of what’s going on.
